About the Fund Valuation Institute

Valuation is one of the most mission critical operational activities an investment fund is required to make. Vital to investor protection and supervised by a series of regulatory requirements and standards, asset managers and their governing bodies are subject to a range of valuation compliance obligations.

The Fund Valuation Institute (FVI) aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency of fund valuation through a combination of information provision, education and training and communication and networking amongst fund valuation stakeholders.

Information

We provide information on fund valuation through a regular webinar program, our newsletter and periodic surveys on topical issues.

Education

We advance education in fund valuation with our regular Technical Briefs on key topics, accredited training and bespoke consulting and advisory.

Communication

We facilitate communication amongst fund valuation stakeholders via our networking events and our digital Directory of firms involved in the industry
